#StenoStory 011 : Foreigner V/s Punjabi

In old days,What usually happens, that the family member, who got a chance to live in a developed country, support their family in India, help their family to purchase more land, support their agricultural business, help them to re-pay their loans, which were by the way taken to send him abroad. This was the scenario before.

Now, the culture seems different and depressing. Now, the family member in abroad do not help their family in India and become more selfish. Now, the family member, who is living abroad, is not taking care of the family in India, he do not take interest in the family affairs, and the members who are living in India, has got all the responsibility to handle all the affairs in family and even in relatives. Family in India has to put their efforts beyond their family needs and fulfill the joint social responsibility in India, which shall rather divide and even The color of Westernization is spreading on them that they are dividing their share from rest of the family living in India i.e. they are now taking undue advantage of being their part of family, for which they are hardly doing anything, rather taking their share separate from family, which was previously conserved and taken care by the family members in India.

Aboard living outside India

This is what happening with Ravinder (Fake), when he came to one of the lawyer, and told him that his brother Pooran (Fake) is taking undue advantage of his money and made a false Will against Ravinder and in favour of Pooran, from their father, who was originally living with Ravinder and after the death of their father, Pooran is claiming that the property belongs to him and Ravinder is having no ownership and concern with the property, which was also cared by Ravinder, made with his sweat and hard-working and in which Ravinder has not paid a penny for their betterment.

The story was so convincing that the lawyer, taken the case, as usually the cases of property does not give fruitful results in short time, but the facts seems so real that Ravinder was depressed from his real brother that what he become after he left India. So, it was a surprising situation for him, his lawyer and me, that family members in abroad are not giving attention and even selling the forefather’s property, which they made by facing hard time and which belongs to their family, for a bunch of Rupees.
